Description
For the VK Dota 2 community we built an app that makes it easy to follow The International right inside the social network. Inside — the tournament bracket, match schedule, bets with virtual points and notifications about important games.
My role
Worked on the legacy codebase of The International 2023 app: — Supporting and refactoring the existing code (backend and frontend). — Deploying and maintaining the infrastructure, keeping production stable. — Setting up and maintaining the Steam API integration. Kept the service stable under heavy load during the tournament.
